Update: Weather alert affecting Texas until Monday morning

An updated special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 1:33 a.m. until 8 a.m. The alert is for Llano, Burnet, Edwards, Real, Kerr, Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall and Blanco counties.

“Light wind, clear skies and dry air will allow temperatures to drop into the 30s over the southern Edwards Plateau and Hill County early this morning. Some of the colder spots in the region may briefly drop to freezing or see a light freeze. Take precautions for any cold sensitive plants, and protect yourself and your pets,” states the NWS.
