A special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 2:43 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. for Saguache County East of Continental Divide below 10,000 ft, Del Norte Vicinity/Northern San Luis Valley below 8,500 ft, Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains between 8,500 and 11,000 ft and Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains above 11,000 ft.
