The Youngstown Phantoms and the Waterloo Black Hawks met on Friday, April 03, 2025.
Youngstown came into the game off the back of a run of four successive wins and managed to claim yet another victory. The game finished 6-0.
The Phantoms started off strong and took the lead at the beginning of the game with Jakub Hes scoring in the first period, assisted by Carter Murphy.
The Phantoms made it 2-0 in the middle of the first period when Peter Cisar scored, assisted by Jamison Sluys and Michael Mesic.
The Phantoms’ Peter Cisar increased the lead to 3-0 late in the first, assisted by Jamison Sluys.
The second period ended with a 5-0 lead for the Phantoms.
The Phantoms made it 6-0 when Kade Stengrim netted one, assisted by Brecken Smith and Jakub Hes early in the third period. That left the final score at 6-0.
The Phantoms were called for seven penalties, while the Black Hawks received eight penalties.
