Update: Seismic activity on June 18 – 2.3 magnitude earthquake close to The Geysers, CA recorded

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a preliminary 2.3 magnitude quake struck near The Geysers Wednesday afternoon.

The tremor shook the area at 5:42 p.m. It occurred at a depth of just 1 mile with the epicenter situated about 1 mile northwest of The Geysers.
