According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 7.4 magnitude quake hit near 2025 Eastern Kamchatka Sunday afternoon.

The tremor struck at 06:49 UTC (17:49 local time), with its epicenter located near 2025 Eastern Kamchatka and a depth of 20 km.
