A 6.6 magnitude quake was reported near Scotia Sea Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which slammed the region at 08:32 UTC (05:32 local time), was centered near Scotia Sea. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
