Update: Earthquake measuring 4.0 shakes area near Olancha, CA on July 13

INYO COUNTY, CA — A 4.0 magnitude quake was registered near Olancha Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 5:27 a.m. The epicenter was situated roughly 7 miles south-southwest of Olancha, at a depth of just 1 mile.
