According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 7.3 magnitude quake devastated close to 2025 Sand Point Wednesday morning.

The tremor, which slammed the area at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time), was centered near 2025 Sand Point. It occurred at a depth of 12 miles.
