Update: 5.6 magnitude earthquake hits close to East Pacific Rise on July 19

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.6 magnitude quake occurred near East Pacific Rise Saturday morning.

The tremor struck at 15:55 UTC (08:55 local time), with its epicenter located northern of East Pacific Rise and a depth of 10 km.
