Two points for Sioux City Musketeers after third-period win against Dubuque Fighting Saints

The Sioux City Musketeers defeated the Dubuque Fighting Saints 4-2.

The game on Friday, April 03, 2025 was all square after two periods but in the third Sioux City managed to pull out a win.

The Musketeers took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Nikita Klepov. Justin Stupka and Dallas Vieau assisted.

The Musketeers’ Gavin Garry increased the lead to 2-0 late in the first, assisted by Luke Garry and Nicholas Sykora.

The Fighting Saints narrowed the gap to 2-1 early in the second period when Heikki Ruohonen beat the goalie, assisted by Michael Barron and Josh Giuliani.

Late, Lucas Van Vliet scored a goal, assisted by James Mackey and Luke Malboeuf, making the score 2-2.

Landon Nycz took the lead with a goal in the middle of the third period, assisted by Tate Pritchard and Giacomo Martino.

The Musketeers increased the lead to 4-2 with 19 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Tate Pritchard, assisted by Liam Hupka and Landen Gunderson.

The Musketeers have now won six games in a row.
