Tropical Storm Dexter: Sunday, Aug 3 progress report from the NHC

The tropical storm was first addressed in an advisory by the National Hurricane Center at 10 pm Sunday. Tropical Storm Dexter is currently in the Atlantic Ocean, 300 miles west-northwest of Bermuda. With maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, it is moving to the east-northeast at 12 mph.

“Some slight strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days”, according to meteorologists. They also said “Dexter is likely to become post-tropical by Wednesday.”
