It has been a long time since Tottenham claimed a victory in the Women’s Super League dam and Sunday’s away match to Liverpool did not change things. The match finished 2-2 and was Tottenham’s eighth game in a row without a win.

After the first half, Tottenham were up 2-1. In the second, Liverpool worked their way back into the game and, in the end, the teams settled with a point each.

With two games remaining, in the qualifiers Liverpool are in fifth place in the table while Tottenham are in ninth.

The previous outing between the teams ended in a 3-2 away win for Liverpool in October.

Liverpool’s next Women’s Super League dam games are against Everton (home) on 3 May and Chelsea (away) on 10 May. Tottenham play Chelsea (home) on 3 May and Everton (away) on 10 May.
