In a Europa League Kvartsfinal drama, Tottenham and Eintracht Frankfurt battled it out in a 1-1 draw, with neither side willing to back down.

The Frankfurt started the match best and took the lead early when Hugo Ekitike netted after 6 minutes, making it 1-0.

The Spurs equalised to make it 1-1, when Pedro Porro found the net, with an assist by James Maddison, in the 26th minute. The teams were unable to score in the second half and the game ended 1-1.

The previous match between the teams ended in a 3-2 home win for Tottenham in October.

The teams now have the chance to fine-tune their tactics, as they play each other again in the next fixture on Thursday at Deutsche Bank Park.
