Update: The tornado warning for the Eastern Plains is forecast to expire at 6:15 p.m.

The warning was in place for Crowley, Otero and Pueblo counties.

“The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. for southeastern Colorado. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for central Otero and southeastern Crowley County until 6:45 p.m.,” adds the National Weather Service.
