The Western Slope placed under a fire weather watch Friday – enhanced fire threat

A fire weather watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 2:12 p.m. valid for Friday between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. for the Western Slope.

The full list of affected locations includes:

• Little Snake

• White River

• Lower Colorado River

• Southwest Colorado Lower Forecast Area

• Paradox Valley

• Northern San Juan

• North Fork

• Gunnison Basin

• Southwest Colorado Upper West Forecast Area

• Southwest Colorado Upper East Forecast Area
