Strong third period wins it for Austin Bruins against Minot Minotauros

A tight game on Friday, March 27, 2025 between the Minot Minotauros and the Austin Bruins wasn’t settled until the third period, when Austin scored the game-winning goal, ending it 5-2.

The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Minotauros took the lead when Adam Mahler scored the first goal assisted by Jack O’hanisain and Jesse Juhola.

The Bruins made it 1-1 with a goal from EJ Paddington.

The Minotauros took the lead early in the third period when Noah Gibbs netted one, assisted by Braeden Jockims and Jordan Gibbs.

Evan Malkhassian tied it up 2-2 with a goal late in the third, assisted by Nathan Williams and Augustus Elbert.

The Bruins took the lead with 01.59 remaining of the third after a goal from Evan Malkhassian, assisted by John Hirschfeld and Ludvig Mellgren.

The Bruins increased the lead to 4-2 with 01.16 remaining of the third after a goal from Alex Laurenza, assisted by Luc Malkhassian and EJ Paddington.

The Bruins increased the lead to 5-2 with 01.12 remaining of the third after a goal from Nathan Williams, assisted by Jackson Rilei.
