An updated red flag warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 2:48 p.m. in effect until 9 p.m. for Southwest Colorado Upper East Forecast Area.
Winds are forecasted to be southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph and relative humidity 9 to 14 percent.
“Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended,” explains the NWS.
