A single-family house located at 24955 W Blakely Drive in Plainfield has a new owner.

The 2,371-square-foot property, built in 1996, was sold on Sept. 26, for $445,000, or $188 per square foot. The lot of the property covers an area of 11,326 square feet.

Other homes that have recently changed hands close by include:

· At 13234 W Flagg Drive, in March, a 2,572-square-foot home was sold for $485,000, a price per square foot of $189.

· In June, a 2,536-square-foot home at 13315 W Round Barn Road, sold for $505,000, a price per square foot of $199. The home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

· A 2,208-square-foot home at 24929 W Vermette Road, sold in September, for $410,000, a price per square foot of $186.
