A 5.0 magnitude quake was detected near Baluntaicun Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor hit at 08:30 UTC (14:30 local time), with its epicenter located roughly 116 km west-southwest of Baluntaicun and a depth of 10 km.
