A 5.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Vilyuchinsk Friday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 09:45 UTC (20:45 local time). The epicenter was situated roughly 200 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk, at a depth of 10 km.
