An updated winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 11:34 a.m. in effect until 3 p.m. for Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains between 7,500 and 11,000 ft, Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains above 11,000 ft, Wet Mountains between 6,300 and 10,000 ft and Wet Mountains above 10,000 ft.
The NWS states to anticipate, “Snow showers. Additional snow accumulations of an inch or two.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” says the NWS. “The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
