On Friday at 2:15 p.m. an updated red flag warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 6 p.m. for Larimer and Boulder counties between 6,000 and 9,000 Feet.

Winds are expected to be northwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph and relative humidity as low as 18 percent.

“Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire,” explains the NWS.
