The warning was in place for Central Colorado.
“Winds and relative humidities have improved for much of the warned area, with improving conditions expected over the next hour. The Red Flag Warning will be allowed to expire at 9 p.m., but localized areas of critical fire weather conditions will be possible for the next hour or two,” adds the National Weather Service.
The full list of affected locations includes:
• Jackson County below 9,000 feet
• South and Southeast Grand/West Central and Southwest Boulder/Gilpin/Clear Creek/Summit/North and West Park counties above 9,000 feet
• Grand and Summit counties below 9,000 feet
• Central and Southeast Park County
• West Jackson and West Grand counties above 9,000 feet
• South and East Jackson/Larimer/North and Northeast Grand/Northwest Boulder counties above 9,000 feet
