On Saturday at 1:47 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated red flag warning in effect until 10 p.m. for Lower Colorado River and Colorado River Headwaters.

Winds are expected to be southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and relative humidity 6 to 11%.

“Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning,” comments the NWS.
