An updated report from the NWS Fort Worth TX was issued on Tuesday at 7:02 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 7:45 p.m. for Wise and Jack counties.

The storms are anticipated to bring wind gusts of up to 50 mph and nickel-sized hail (0.88 inches).

At 7:01 p.m., the National Weather Service reported that Doppler radar detected a strong thunderstorm near Lake Bridgeport, approximately 11 miles east of Jacksboro, moving eastward at 30 mph. The storm could produce gusty winds capable of knocking down tree limbs and blowing around unsecured objects, with minor damage to outdoor items being possible.

The NWS advises those outdoors to seek shelter inside a building. The storm has the potential to intensify, so it is important to stay updated by monitoring local radio and television stations for further information and any possible warnings issued by the National Weather Service.
