The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has declared an Ozone Action Day for the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Atmospheric conditions are anticipated to favor the production of high levels of ozone air pollution in the region on that day. To help reduce ozone pollution, the TCEQ suggests actions such as carpooling, walking, cycling, bringing lunch to work, avoiding drive-through lanes, conserving energy, and ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
