On Sunday at 12:28 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory in effect until 8 p.m. for Northern St. Lawrence and Northern Franklin.
The NWS says to expect, “Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch.”
“Difficult travel conditions are possible,” comments the NWS. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power outages Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.”
