The 3-1 win sealed the victory for the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the series against the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Tuesday, April 28, 2025.

Muskegon won in 3-0 games.

The Lumberjacks took the lead in the first period, with a goal from Vaclav Nestrasil. Jack Galanek and David Klee assisted.

The Fighting Saints tied the score 1-1 early in the second period when Lucas Van Vliet netted one, assisted by Gavin Cornforth and Edison Engle.

Lumberjacks’ Matthew Van Blaricom tallied a goal late, making the score 2-1. Carter Sanderson and Drew Stewart assisted.

The Lumberjacks increased the lead to 3-1 with eight seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Tynan Lawrence, assisted by Vaclav Nestrasil.
