On Monday at 4 pm, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Tropical Storm Dexter is in the Atlantic Ocean, 275 miles north-northwest of Bermuda. The system, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, is moving to the northeast at 15 mph.
“Little change in strength is forecast over the next couple of days, and Dexter is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone by the middle to latter portion of this week”, meteorologists wrote.
