On Monday at 10 am, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Tropical Storm Dexter is in the Atlantic Ocean, 250 miles northwest of Bermuda. The system, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, is moving to the northeast at 14 mph.

“Some slight strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days, but Dexter is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone by the middle to latter portion of this week”, meteorologists wrote.
