On Monday at 4 am, the National Hurricane Center issued an advisory stating that Tropical Storm Dexter is in the Atlantic Ocean, 255 miles northwest of Bermuda. The system, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, is moving to the east-northeast at 12 mph.

“Some slight strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days”, meteorologists wrote. They also said “Dexter is likely to become post-tropical by Wednesday.”
