The Minnesota Wilderness defeated the Janesville Jets 5-3.
The game on Friday, April 03, 2025 was all square after two periods but in the third Minnesota Wilderness managed to pull out a win.
The Jets started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Joseph Hyten scoring in the first minute, assisted by Rylan Brady and Bauer Murphy.
Ben Roulette scored early in the second period, assisted by Nate Murray and Olle Karlsson.
Seven minutes into the period, Hans Hedlund scored a goal, assisted by Grady Magner and Joey Fankhanel, making the score 2-1.
The Wilderness made it 2-2 with a goal from Lucas Jendek.
The Wilderness took the lead early in the third period when Avery Anderson netted one, assisted by Caleb Kim and Brady Zugec.
Karson Young made it 4-2 with a goal six minutes later, assisted by Brady Zugec and Jakeb Lynch.
Murray Marvin-Cordes narrowed the gap to 4-3 with a goal three minutes later, assisted by Sammy Smith and Nick Messina.
The Wilderness increased the lead to 5-3 with 60 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Ben Roulette.
