On Monday at 11:47 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a red flag warning valid for Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. for Logan County.

The NWS states that the warning was issued for wind and low relative humidity. Winds are forecasted to be west 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and relative humidity as low as 13 percent.

“Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire,” comments the NWS.
