Lincoln Stars win against Des Moines Buccaneers

The Lincoln Stars won when they faced the Des Moines Buccaneers at Ice Box on Saturday, March 28, 2025.

The final score was 6-2.

The Stars took the lead in the first period, with a goal from Lefty Markonidis. Nikolas Young assisted.

The Stars’ Bruno Idzan made it 2-0 late in the first period, assisted by Hunter Anderson and Daniel Shlaine.

The Stars’ Drew Dellasalla increased the lead to 3-0 late in the first, assisted by Nate Pederson and Caeden Herrington.

The Stars increased the lead to 4-0 with a minute left in the first when Hunter Anderson scored, assisted by Daniel Shlaine and Bruno Idzan.

Two goals were scored in the second period, and the Stars led 5-1 going in to the third period.

Alex Pelletier made it 6-1 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Layne Loomer and Gio Digiulian.

The Buccaneers narrowed the gap to 6-2 with 38 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Ryan Seelinger, assisted by Brittan Alstead and Blake Zielinski.
