Update: Earthquake strikes region near Dunhuang, China on June 16 – 5.2 magnitude reported

A 5.2 magnitude quake shook close to Dunhuang on Tuesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 09:42 UTC (17:42 local time), with its epicenter about 249 km south-southeast of Dunhuang and a depth of 10 km.
