July 4: Earthquake measuring 5.0 hits region near Tobelo, Indonesia

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Tobelo on Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which struck the area at 09:02 UTC (18:02 local time), was centered roughly 64 km west of Tobelo. It occurred at a depth of 128 km.
