According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 6.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday afternoon.

A tremor shook the area at 07:26 UTC (18:26 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located roughly 166 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
