Monday afternoon, a 5.1 magnitude quake was detected close to Hihifo, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 06:42 UTC (18:42 local time), was centered roughly 47 km south-southwest of Hihifo. It occurred at a depth of 107 km.
