Update: Flood watch previously issued for Yuma and Kit Carson counties will expire at midnight

The watch was for Yuma and Kit Carson counties.

“The Flash Flood Watch will expire for portions of Colorado, including the following areas, Kit Carson and Yuma, Kansas, including the following areas, Cheyenne KS, Decatur, Gove, Graham, Greeley, Logan, Norton, Rawlins, Sheridan, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace and Wichita, and southwest Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow. The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood Watch will expire at midnight /midnight MDT/ early this morning. Please heed remaining road closures in the area as flooding may still linger,” explains the National Weather Service.
