Update: Elbert and Lincoln counties flood advisory set to expire at 6:45 p.m.

The advisory was in place for Elbert and Lincoln counties.

“The Flood Advisory will expire at 6:45 p.m. this evening for a portion of east central Colorado, including the following areas, Elbert and Lincoln. Flood waters have receded. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed any remaining closures,” according to the National Weather Service.
