The NWS Fort Worth TX issued a flash flood warning at 7:47 p.m. on Friday in effect until 11 p.m. for Parker County.

At 7:47 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area, with 1 to 2 inches already fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in one hour, with an additional 2 to 4 inches forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, and flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor drainage and low-lying areas is likely, according to the NWS.

Locations impacted by the warning include Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Willow Park, Aledo, Springtown, Brock, Hudson Oaks, Western Lake, Annetta, Poolville, Cool, Lake Weatherford, Lake Mineral Wells, Horseshoe Bend, Cresson, Annetta South, Annetta North, Millsap, Adell and Advance.
