Published Jul 25, 2025

On Friday at 1:08 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated fire weather watch valid for Sunday between noon and 8 p.m. for Little Snake, White River and Paradox Valley.

Winds are forecasted to be south 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph and relative humidity 6 to 11 percent.

“Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended,” says the NWS.

According to the NWS, a fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
