The Force took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Michael Coleman. Matthew Lansing and Eero Butella assisted.
The Stars’ Hunter Anderson tied it up in the first period, assisted by Daniel Shlaine and Alex Pelletier.
The Force took the lead with a goal from Jonah Aegerter in the middle of the first, assisted by Mason West and Hayes Hundley.
Dashel Oliver tied the game 2-2 with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Alex Pelletier. The game went to overtime.
In overtime, it took 46 seconds before Kuzma Voronin scored the game-winner for the team, assisted by Sam Laurila.
The Stars were whistled for no penalties, while the Force received no penalties.
