Fairbanks Ice Dogs win against Kenai River Brown Bears

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs won when they faced the Kenai River Brown Bears at Big Dipper Ice Arena on Friday, April 10, 2025.

The final score was 6-3.

The Ice Dogs took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Kyle Rohrer. Wyatt Carlson and Kaycee Coyle assisted.

The Ice Dogs increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Ian Norkevicus with a minute left in the first, assisted by Gage Leonard and Adam Timm.

The second period ended with a 4-2 lead for the Ice Dogs.

Luc Plante made it 5-2 with a goal in the third period, assisted by Adam Timm and Ian Norkevicus.

Kyle Rohrer also increased the lead to 6-2 with a goal less than a minute later, assisted by Brent Gulenchyn and Jackson Fox.

Brady Engelkes narrowed the gap to 6-3 with a goal six minutes later, assisted by Riley Mullen and Carter Mccormick.
