The Fairbanks Ice Dogs won the game against the Kenai River Brown Bears 6-2 at Big Dipper Ice Arena on Saturday, April 11, 2025.
The Ice Dogs opened strong, at the beginning of the game with Thomas Corneillie scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Kaycee Coyle and Gage Leonard.
The Ice Dogs’ Cam Vansickle made it 2-0 in the first period, assisted by Adam Timm and Thomas Corneillie.
The Ice Dogs’ Ian Norkevicus increased the lead to 3-0 halfway through the first period, assisted by Luc Plante and Adam Timm.
Two goals were scored in the second period, and the Ice Dogs led 4-1 going in to the third period.
The Brown Bears narrowed the gap again with a goal from Brady Engelkes, assisted by Thomas Gunderson and Joseph Yoon at 1:23 into the third period.
Rylan Oster made it 5-2 with a goal five minutes later, assisted by Arsenii Vorobev and Aidan Bergner.
The Ice Dogs increased the lead to 6-2 with 01.33 remaining of the third period after a goal from Jackson Fox, assisted by Gage Leonard and Rylan Oster.
