MUY MUY, Matagalpa — A 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to off the coast of Central America on Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor jolted the region at 07:38 UTC (01:38 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter of off the coast of Central America.
