Earthquake slams area close to Port-Olry, Vanuatu: 6.5 magnitude reported on Feb. 14

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 6.5 magnitude quake hit near Port-Olry at midday on Saturday.

A tremor rocked the region at 02:27 UTC (13:27 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated about 59 km west of Port-Olry and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
