A tremor struck the area at 03:02 UTC (11:02 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated roughly 31 km east-southeast of Baculin and occurred at a depth of 22 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 6.7 event, but later downgraded it to 6.4.
