A 5.2 magnitude quake was registered near Tatsugō on Tuesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook at 04:20 UTC (13:20 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 97 km north of Tatsugō and a depth of 10 km.
