Earthquake of magnitude 5.1 registered close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia on July 20

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday evening.

A tremor shook the area at 09:30 UTC (20:30 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located approximately 142 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
